Pictures offer an amazing view into our world. While the length of time that the shutter is open to capture an image might not be more than a fraction of a second, what in can capture in that time can last for generations to come. They have the ability to make us laugh or cry, elicit joy or rage and perhaps move you to take action to better or even protect, the world in which we live.
Photography has been an important part of my life for as long as I can remember. While the technology has certainly changed from when I had my first "Brownie", to today's digital SLR's, what hasn't changed is my goal of capturing the same emotional experience that I felt when taking the photograph for you, the viewer.
I consider myself fortunate to have had a multi-disciplined career that has given me the opportunity to travel extensively, and I'll have done my job as a photographer if I am able to provide you an emotional connection with these pictures. I hope you enjoy these photographs, whether the image was captured down the street or across the globe.
